Understanding the US system of government is difficult enough, but the myriad of complex terms and concepts can be quite confusing, especially for someone who is unfamiliar with how our government operates. The terms listed below are used extensively throughout this course and an understanding and familiarity with them now will help facilitate your comprehension and development in AP Government. These terms are not necessarily the most important but they are frequently used throughout multiple units. This is certainly not a complete list, but it is a good start.
Use your handout from class to complete this assignment. Take advantage of class time and ask questions to clarify these terms. There will a 26 point quiz (19 questions) over the terms.
